Matt Nevarez, Director of Operations, is an experienced oilfield entrepreneur specializing in crude oil transportation and logistics. He founded and scaled multiple companies, including TexStar Crude Transport, successfully exiting after expanding to over 120 trucks. His expertise spans fleet growth, nationwide operations, and strategic contracts. Driven by results and discipline, Matt is focused on building Black Gold Tank Lines into a leading, competitive force while upholding safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

OMAR AZZAM
Omar Azzam is an executive leader with over 20 years of experience in financial oversight, operations management, technology leadership, and strategic business development. He brings strong expertise in forecasting, cost control, vendor management, operational planning, and business scaling, supported by a background that bridges finance, systems, and execution. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Boston and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University. With this combination of technical and management education, he focuses on building disciplined financial structures, improving operational efficiency, and supporting long-term company growth.

DARREN EBY
Darren transitioned into the trucking and oilfield industry in 2011. He successfully embraced multiple positions in the office administration realm , eventually earning the title of CFO at TexStar Crude Transport in 2017. He became proficient in financial operations, DOT compliance, accounts payable, accounts receivable , dispatch coordination, and fleet maintenance.
In addition to his business leadership, Darren has hands-on experience as a commercial driver and equipment operator, with a Class A CDL. Therefore he has a clear perspective of what truck drivers and “muscle class” workers experience on a daily basis out in the field.
With a career spanning engineering, operations management, and business ownership, Darren brings a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership, and industry knowledge to every endeavor.
